Insulting

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Daniel was chuckling hearing what she just said. She actually thinks that her folks are innocent and they know nothing about my actual identity. Jamima was seeing his snickering face and attempt to comprehend what has she said so funny that now he is chuckling, studiedly?

"For what reason are you chuckling?" she asked, puzzled.

"Oh, don't you know why I'm laughing? All things considered, no issue! allow me to disclose to you at that point, I'm laughing at you since I have never seen someone as thick-headed as you," he clarified.

Each word emerging from his mouth was disgustingly directed towards her. He was consistently insulting her in every possible way. Perhaps, he was not punishing her physically however mentally.

"Wh-what do you mean?" she asked, controlling herself from saying something wrong towards him which will make challenges for her own self, later.

Daniel drew nearer to her face, towards her ear, and said practically murmuring, "Do you actually think, your folks are innocent and know nothing about your condition here? They send you with me, without knowing anything about my background? Don't you think, you are offending their capabilities by underestimating them to such an extent? Or on the other hand, possibly you are truly moronic like I said previously or are simply pretending to be one before me."

Each word emerging from his mouth was like daggers for her. She was befuddled about what does this all mean? Does he mean, my parents know it all and they deceived me? No, no. for what reason would they do it? They can't drag me to hell with their own hands.

She was confounded, frightened, and alone in this unfamiliar place. She wanted to return and tell her parents about all that which happened to her there, she wanted to return back and snuggle in Danny's warm arms. However, presently everything began to feel like never going to happen, the fantasy of her.

She thought he is trying to make her against her parents saying this, cuz she trusts in her parents more than anything in this world. Furthermore, listening awful about them, angered her. She can accept everything and anything as long as it is not related to her friends and family.

She gazed straight into his eyes which were of blue color and stated, "I know what you are trying to do, yet sorry to disappoint you since it won't work on me so it would be better if you try to find someone else to manipulate with your words."

She said all her words firmly, looking in his eyes. She wasn't terrified while ensuring her friends and family yet, indeed, she looked more strong and firmed, and this was what Daniel wanted the least that time. He wanted to see her cry, broken, and confused more and more with each passing day.

He grabbed her arm tightly and said, "You believe I'm lying, huh? Then let me prove to you how your parents pushed you into my hell, knowing everything that what can happen to you here, in fact, they also know, how a mere human being like you spend their whole life miserably here yet they forced you to accompany me."

He was gripping her arm so tightly and it was harming her and carried tears to her eyes however she persevered through this agony since she would not like to look weak in front of him.

"Prove it! Prove it, that all that you are stating is true about my parents. Demonstrate that they are not as innocent as I consider them. Demonstrate that it is they who are liable for my present condition. Prove that they are the reason behind my hopeless life here," she stated, unequivocally.

"Prove! Mr. Daniel, I need proves or probably don't expect me to believe in your lies. The day you will become successful in proving this all this, from that day onwards I'll do whatever you tell me to do and if you won't then you have to free me from this mansion of yours," she said, overconfidently.

She was trusting in her parents blindly. She was overconfident about the fact that her parents can never betray her like this. It should be this person who tricked them with his falsehoods. Indeed, in truth, he was right about one thing that she is truly innocent or moronic whatever suits her the most to trust others to such an extent.

He grinned overwhelmingly and stated, "Deal! yet, don't regret it later because not long after knowing about everything your life here will going to turn out to be more miserable than it already is."

"Don't worry as I know what I'm doing also I care less about the consequences since I definitely know that my I'm trusting on those can never deceive me nor will they break my trust," she let him know, firmly.

"Fine! Accompany me and you will know about the reality soon," he said and dragged her with him.

"B-but where are we going to?" she asked, demanded.

"To your home," he answered.

"My home!!?" she asked, dumbfounded.
