Chapter 59

LUNA invited five of her closest friends for her pool party. Some came with their mothers while the others are with their nannies. There’s Sophia who’s been Luna’s classmate since preschool,  and Mia and Amelia, the twins, Jason who had just transferred from the US and Sarah who lives in the neighborhood. 

And then there’s Bullet, who clearly said the night before that he couldn’t come. He came with his good friend Lukas, who’s now chatting with Martha near the pool. 

Truth is, she didn’t know what to feel. She should be happy that Bullet accepted his father role for Luna but she didn’t expect him to be this involved. He just met Luna the day before and he’s acting as if he’s the best father in the world. Not that she’s complaining.
