Maggie was looking at the diamond on her finger, flabbergasted. What happened? How did they come to this so fast? Ok, they agreed to try to be a couple despite all the circumstances, and they were doing pretty well. The next morning, Maggie woke up just as moody as she was yesterday. She had an urge to just go and leave everything behind, to be alone for a while.
