Kyle squeezed the small towel he had dipped inside the cold water earlier and pressed it on Charlotte's forehead. She was running hot for a while and refused to even blink her eyes. Charlotte shifted slightly on the bed because of the uncomfortable position that she had put herself in but that was enough to wake her up. She opened her eyes, groggy and confused, as the morning sunlight streamed in through the window.
