Hell.

This was hell like nothing I had ever seen. I had been starved before, in my foster parents' home after I came out from the orphanage, but never like this. I did not know how long it was now, but I was barely awake.

When I had first entered this place, I thought I would die in no time. If not from hunger, from the ghosts of the many skulls and bones that littered the basement floor. He was really a murderer. Just how many people had he killed this way?

I sang songs to my daughter every once in a while and hoped that she felt my love. I mean, maybe I was being dramatic, but sometimes I could see my death staring at me in the face.
