DAY 2: VALERIA’S POINT OF VIEW

The sun slowly crept its way into the room, casting a warm glow on the walls as I reluctantly opened my eyes. The throbbing pain in my head reminded me of the torment I had endured the previous night. Half of the night had been consumed by tears, as the ache of missing my father engulfed me, leaving me feeling hollow and lost.

Vladimir’s heinous act, the one that took my father away from me, sent waves of anger coursing through my veins. My blood boiled at the mere thought of that man, knowing that he was responsible for robbing me of the one person who had been my pillar of strength and love.

Beside me, Hannah and Azura lay peacefully, seemingly undisturbed by the turmoil that plagued my soul. I couldn’t help but watch Hannah as she slept soundly, her serene expression a stark contrast to the turmoil in my heart. How could she rest so peacefully when her own father had caused such devastation to mine?
