Chapter XXV

I blinked, flipping the invitation letter given by Ms. Perry. I sniffed a little the envelope as I smelled its fragrance. But I stopped when Ms. Perry looked at me with her arching eyebrow.

I smiled wryly. "I-I must go back." I took the piles of folders from her desk and settled them in my arms as I put the invitation letter on top of it. "Thanks again, Ms. Perry," I said, not looking at her as I sauntered back to Sebastian's office, twisting the doorknob but someone pulled the door.

"What took you so—"

I shrieked as I lost my balance when someone pulled the door roughly while I was still holding on to the doorknob. Good thing Sebastian caught me in his arms but a disaster came again.

"Oh no!"

"Shit!"
