THE UNEXPECTED PROXIMITY
Once we were within the embrace of the dark tree clad, he lit a candle up! I gasped.
“Where did you get that?” I asked, disbelief marring my voice.“In one of those tribal lamp shed” he smiled at my reaction. I struggled to keep me afloat. The water was too strong, it swirled me along the current, and threw my arms and legs around like a ragdoll. I dint know how long I have been asleep, I glanced at the dashboard it read 4:00 in the evening. I looked around and noticed that we were just entering a forest area.
