Chapter 14 Make Me Sick

He Xiaoyu saw Lin Wan's saddened expression.

She shrugged and said with a relaxed expression, "Don't get me wrong. I just got here. I came here to help my senior fellow get your adultery evidence. Nothing happened between us. I'm not like you. I am unwilling to sleep casually with a man."

"That's just bullsh*t. I didn't do anything unfaithful to my husband either. You mustn't drive a wedge between us. What are you trying to get from this? Don't you think I don't know? I've never done anything wrong to hurt others. I've done all things with a clear conscience!" Lin Wan exclaimed.

"Keep lying. May I ask where and with whom did you sleep last night?"

"I live in room 908 with Mrs. Hong, and Lin Kun lives in room 1516 alone. If you don't believe it, you can go to the front desk to check!"

After finishing speaking, Lin Wan looked at her husband Li Mu. These words were apparently said for him.

Li Mu frowned and said to He Xiaoyu, "No talking. Pack up your things and I'll drive you home!"

"There was barely anything to pack up." He Xiaoyu picked up her bag and said to Li Mu in a sweet voice, "Why don't you come to my place for staying a few days?"

The three left the room together. Li Mu held Lin Wan's arm tightly because he was afraid that if he loosened her arms, she would rush over to He Xiaoyu and get a fight with her in public, which would leave him with great humiliation.

When Lin Wan arrived at the front desk of the hotel, she asked about the details of Li Mu's check-in.

Because the guest himself was at present, the hotel thought it was unnecessary to hide the details and told her all the information such as check-in time and the guest information.

He Xiaoyu also took advantage of this opportunity and enquired about the details of Lin Wan' check-in and she was answered with the same details Lin Wan described.

After leaving the hotel lobby, the three went to the parking lot together. Lin Wan took her husband's arm and went straight to her car.

He Xiaoyu suddenly stopped. Li Mu was confused and asked, "Hey, what are you doing? Why do you stop?"

"I don't want to take that car. Did you drive your car here?"

"Where did that come from? Does the car piss you off?"

"It's not the car that annoyed me. It's the driver that annoyed me. She makes me sick!"
