Saanvi laid back on her seat and heaved a sigh of relief as the cool atmosphere welcomed her. The sun was again shining brightly as the rays fell on the car window but couldn't reach her as the glasses were black and were resisting the heat.
Initially, when Arjun messaged her that he is sending his car. She wanted to deny but decided against it as her scooty got some major defect yesterday.
She surely was feeling nervous as she didn't know why he himself had messaged her. He has already told her that Nitin will give her further details and will help her in deciding the arrangements, if needed.
However, she was also excited to meet him as he has been her inspiration. He is a cold hearted businessman, as people say but the empire he has created without any support is worth every praise.
The cool air coming from A.C. brought much relief to her soul. It was her first time sitting in an expensive car. Though, she still prefered her scooty over someone else's car, but was liking it too.
"Have a good day, Mam" the driver wished her politely as he stopped the car near the building.
"You too" Saanvi replied with a smile and came out of the car after thanking him for the ride.
The blazing sun hit her face and goosebumps erupted on her skin. Hurriedly, she went inside as she didn't has to show her Id this time.
The receptionist gave her a small smile waving at her direction which Saanvi returned.
Here people are actually really polite.
She thought and entered inside the elevator. This time she wasn't much nervous as she was before. But still a little bit nervous and scared.
The elevator opened with a ding and she stepped outside.
"Hello, Saanvi" a familiar face and voice greeted her as she was about to walk towards Arjun's cabin.
"Hello" Saanvi greeted him back to which Raajiv nodded while giving her a small smile.
"Sir is waiting for you" he said gesturing towards Arjun's cabin and left after saying his goodbye.
Saanvi wiped her clammy hands on her grey kaftan top before knocking on the door. After hearing a small come in, she entered inside.
The cabin was looking neat and clean just like before.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Khanna" Arjun nodded his head and greeted her back. He gestured her to sit on the chair in front of him.
"I hope my driver didn't let you wait for so long" Arjun asked glancing at his wrist watch.
"No no, sir. He was on time" Saanvi replied in a polite tone, " and thank you" he nodded his head and closed the laptop to focus on her completely.
"Did you visit the venue?" Though he was sure that she hasn't as it's been only two days since their meeting and the event is still four days away.
"Yes sir, I have" her answer didn't fail to suprise him. He didn't expect her to be this honest towards her job, though he liked her honesty on the very first meeting.
"Okay...Nitin told me you wanted to show me the decorations?" She hesitantly nodded her head thinking about Nitin's words as he said Arjun doesn't like these things.
Nevertheless she was happy as now it will be easier for her to select the decors for the event.
"Yeah actually I have few things in my mind. If you allow?" He gestured by his hand for her to go on.
Saanvi took a deep breath and took out her tablet from her bag.
"It would be nice if we keep the theme light as it is summer and the theme is very important for any event, it can irritate your eyes and can send relief to your eyes as well. Umm...what do you say?" She asked with a hesitance in her eyes but what caught Arjun's attention was the confidence in her voice.
The eye contact she made throughout the whole explanation. Not even for once she broke the eye contact.
"Good" he answered after clearing his throat. Saanvi sighed inwardly as he was looking quite impressed.
"I also have few pics of flowers we would decorate at the entrance" she forwarded her tablet towards Arjun.
Arjun went through the pics and his eyes and finger stopped at one particular pic.
"This one" he whispered giving her the tablet back. Saanvi noticed a strange emotion in his eyes which went away as soon as it came.
"Okay sure. Umm...anything else sir?" She asked.
"You know better" he replied with a chuckle which brought a small smile on her face, "No, Miss. Aggarwal..I leave the rest on you" he completed with an approving look on his face.
"Okay" she mumbled tugging a strand of hair behind her ear.
"My driver will drop you" he said standing up from his chair.
"No, sir it's fine. I will manage" she didn't want him to do a favour on her again. Plus, she had enough money to pay a cab driver.
"Miss. Aggarwal, he will drop you" she bit her lip and finally agreed as she thought it would be wrong to make him upset. Plus, he was only asking his driver to drop her at work, nothing else.

Saanvi was dabbing her damp hair with the towel when her phone rang. Keeping the towel on the bed, she took out her phone from the charger.
"Hey, Saanvi" Nitin's voice welcomed her as she answered the call.
"Hey" she replied not knowing what to say further or why he has called this late.
"Actually I wanted to tell you that the day after tomorrow I will pick you from your home and we will visit the venue. Mr. Khanna will also join us" he explained.
"Okay cool. I will wait for you" with that he ended the call and Saanvi fell on the bed. No doubt she was deadly tired. After meeting Arjun, she went to a client's house to confirm his wedding's decorations and the family members there did make her tired with their continuous bickering.
Some of them even started fighting with each other on a particular topic which made her laugh and angry at the same time.
The cool air from the air conditioner made her sigh in relief. When she returned home today, the air conditioner was delivered.
Namisha was waiting anxiously for her daughter to return home as she wanted to share this moment with her daughter.
When the staffs were done with connecting the air conditioner in Saanvi's room, Namisha and Saanvi had a good cry as they sat in front of it.
Though Saanvi wanted to set the air conditioner in her mother's room but couldn't win from Namisha.
Saanvi agreed and decided that till winters, they both will sleep in Saanvi's room only.
"Oh you took a bath" Namisha stated entering Saanvi's room. Saanvi nodded smiling tiredly at her mother.
Namisha could see the tiredness on her face, she feels bad sometimes seeing her daughter working so hard but she is also proud of her as Saanvi is finally achieving her dreams.
She lovingly caressed her hair and put Saanvi's head on her lap. Saanvi moaned as Namisha's fingers started doing magic on her scalp.
Indeed she was dying for this touch, it has been few days since the mother daughter duo spend some quality time with each other.
During childhood, Saanvi used to place her head on Namisha's lap everytime she used to feel unsure of something or if she was tired. The gentle touch and warmth of her mother always sends waves of relief and pleasure in her whole body.
"He treats you nicely, right?" Namisha asked, a hint of worry evident in her tone.
"Yes, Maa. He isn't that bad infact he really is a gentleman" Saanvi answered knowing very well about who was Namisha referring to.
"Good, just don't mess with him, haa?" Namisha wanted her daughter to not mess with Arjun as it would create havoc in her life. Whatever she has heard about him, made her think so.
"Why would I?" Saanvi asked back chuckling a bit. She squeezed her mother's hand in an assuring manner and closed her eyes.

"Maa, just wrap a Prantha (cooked bread) for me" Saanvi shouted from her room, juggling with her tangled jhumkas.
Ahhh...why do they get tangled always?
She was getting irritated and was about to wear a pair of simple tops when the jhumkas got untangled.
Wrapping the stall around her neck, she made her way outside the room.
Namisha was wrapping her lunch in a tiffin box while a wrapped Parantha was kept on the table.
"When will Shaanti come?" Saanvi asked in an irritating tone as she took a bite of her parantha.
"She told me she is going to a wedding and will come back after two weeks" Saanvi sighed at her mother's words. Shaanti is their maid and an irresponsible one.
"Leave her. Take this with you" Namisha said handling Saanvi the tiffin box which she never takes along with her. She was about to deny this time as well but one glare from Namisha made her mouth shut.
"When will Nitin come?" Namisha asked looking at the clock. It was 9:30 am and the sun was shinning brightly already.
"Will be here soon" Saanvi replied in a muffled voice. After eating her parantha, she drank water and was about to call Nitin when a car honk was heard outside their house.
"See you" Saanvi hugged her mother and went outside. Though Namisha wanted to see Nitin but her pressure cooker started whistling.
"Hey, Good morning" Saanvi greeted as Nitin came out of the car.
"Morning" he greeted back opening the door for her. Mumbling a quick thank you, she sat inside followed by Nitin. Though it was the first time she was seeing him as in person as she has already seen his pic on w******p.
His features are indeed attractive. An impressive height with an equally impressive body language.
"So, you are from Mumbai?" Nitin initiated the conversation as the ride was getting awkward.
"No..actually I am from Lucknow but eight years back, we shifted here" she answered to which he nodded.
"You?" She asked back.
"Mumbai itself" she could tell he is from Mumbai by just hearing his tone. A typical Marathi, he is.
They got involved in light conversation and after somewhat one hour, reached the destination.
Her eyes immediately stopped on a broad figure who was leaning on the bonnet of his car. His eyes were hidden behind black shades.
He was typing something on his phone with one hand while the other hand was tugged inside his pant pocket.
"Sir" Nitin nodded in acknowledgement standing in front of him..
"You are late" Arjun stated looking at his wrist watch. Saanvi could tell by just hearing his tone that he was upset.
"So-orry sir, the traffic.."
"Leave it" Arjun didn't let him finish and ended the topic right there.
Saanvi was a bit taken aback by his behaviour. Nitin was just explaining himself but he didn't even let him finish.
She found it rude.
Saanvi prepared herself by taking a deep breath. He was not looking in a good mood..
Don't forget to vote and comment. Also, what do you think about Arjun and Saanvi?
The next one will be updated soon.
"How are you, Miss. Aggarwal?" His focus was now on Saanvi."I am good, Sir. You?" She replied politely trying hard to not let the bitterness she just felt reach her tongue."Good" he said gesturing with his hand for her to go inside. They both started walking towards the hotel whereas Nitin busied himself on a call."I want you to decorate those flowers inside the hall as well" Saanvi got a bit confused at his words. He could have said it on the phone. And flowers inside the hall? In a product launch event? His eyes were transfixed on the flowers that were kept inside the basket at the table. Saanvi was going to start the work by today itself and eventually he too came here."Sure sir" though she found this idea quite tempting and new.Let's try this.He nodded at her and leaned on the wall looking at his phone.Saanvi tied her hair in a bun and soon the staff members joined her."Leave it. These are flowers not stones" she scolded a young boy who was decorating the flowers on the wa
The loud clapping sounds resonated in the hall. Arjun was sitting on the stage with few other business associates. People were looking at him with admiring eyes, however, some of them were looking at him with envy. He has achieved so much in this young age and they are not even close to his success.Indeed, he has climbed a long ladder of difficulties which gave him all the success he has today.Saanvi was happy as well, the event was going well by now. The guests seemed impressed with Arjun's product and the way he portrayed his product in front of them was quite impressive and convincing. The guests started having their meal as it was 9:30 already. They enjoyed the snacks and beverages as well. Her stomach was grumbling loudly, though she didn't eat anything but had two glasses of soft drink which didn't do much help. The guests started bidding their adieu to Arjun after half an hour. She checked the time and it was almost ten. She was talking to the caterer when she felt a presenc
A big grin was plastered on Saanvi's face as she entered inside her house. Namisha giggled seeing the happiness on her daughter's face. A sense of relief, she felt after witnessing her smiling face."So the event went well?"she questioned or more like stated while giving a glass of chilled water to her daughter."Ahhhh" Saanvi sighed as the cool liquid cascaded down her throat which was parched, "It went perfectly well, Maa. Mr. Khanna was really happy and he appreciated my work as well" Saanvi said making Namisha smile."See, I told you already" Saanvi nodded freeing her hair to let them fall on her back and shoulder."Mr. Khanna dropped me himself" Saanvi stated and Namisha's face fell a bit, "he didn't want us to travel alone at this time. So, Aaliya went with Nitin and I came with Mr. Khanna" she explained further."Oh..." Namisha went silent suddenly making her daughter confused."What happened? Maa?" She shook her mother's shoulder to gain her attention as she was staring at the
His heart was thumping wildly inside his chest. The anticipation was killing him. The wait was killing him.The time seemed to pass slowly, more than necessary. Or maybe, he wanted it to pass quickly, more than necessary. The black glass table was occupied with coffee mugs rather than his files. She wasn't late but his heart was dying to have a look at her.Arjun's heart skipped a beat when he heard a soft knock on the door. Quickly straightening his posture, he said a quick come in.A gush of fresh air entered as she stepped inside his cabin. The fresh air was brought by Saanvi only.He gulped as he took her in. The red sleevless top didn't fail to show her smooth arms. The red tint on her lips woke something inside him.He started feeling...aroused."Hello, Mr. Khanna" her sweet voice forced him to come out of his world as he cleared his throat and put a smile on his face. Her big eyes again stopped him to say anything as he found himself drowning in them. The windchime made a sweet soothing sound making a smile appear on Saanvi's face as she stepped out of the washroom. Throwing the towel on the bed, she walked towards the window. The grey clouds welcomed her as she took in the outside view. The clouds were dancing in the sky, the breeze was a bit stormy yet calming. The windchime shook again, this time making a loud sweet sound. Saanvi's smile brightened as she touched the wooden chimes. It was a new day and a bright one indeed.Inauguration of Khanna Event Management Firm. She was beyond happy. She was feeling a bit uneasy in her tummy, which isn't new at all. She always feels this way whenever she is anxious or over excited. The mixture of anxiety and excitement doesn't set well with her.Looking at the clock, she palmed her face and started taking out her clothes from the wardrobe. She wasn't late but wanted to be there on time.Changing into a cream shirt with high waisted jeans, she looked up at herself in the mirror. She tied h
"Enjoying yourself?" He asked tugging his hands inside the pocket. His muscles flexed in the process."Yes, Sir. This firm is...it's really exquisite" Saanvi replied, she wanted to see the whole building but no one went to upper floors yet. Not even Arjun, so how could she?"Wanna see more?" Arjun's question suprised her but the anticipation was killing her so she nodded quickly."Let's go" Arjun mumbled gesturing with his hand for her to walk firstly.Saanvi fidgeted with her fingers as the situation got a bit awkward. They both were inside the lift and the silence was making things awkward. The soft music was playing inside the lift calming the atmosphere a bit. Arjun glanced at her and a smirk appeared on his lips. She was looking nervous like a kitten. Her fingers were entangled and she was continuously biting her lips, tempting him to do the honour. He tapped his foot impatiently and clenched his fist to control the emotions. He could feel the growing bulge inside his pant. How b
Saanvi wiped her palms on her jeans as the familiar feeling of anxiety engulfed her. It was the first day of her work and she couldn't be more happier about this. But obviously the anticipation was killing her. Taking a deep breath she came outside the cab. Her scooty got some damages again so she couldn't ride it today. The well made building came in her view as she took shaky steps towards the entrance. The watchman greeted her and didn't ask to show the i.d. as the one did in Arjun's office before. A sense of pride engulfed her and the confidence came back suddenly, throwing all the insecurities out of the window.Straightening her shoulder, she started taking steady steps filled with confidence. The heels were making clicking sounds whenever they were coming in contact with the white tiled floor. She recieved few greetings and smiles on her way to the cabin which increased her confidence.A long sigh escaped her lips as soon she entered inside her cabin. The walls were beautifully
A gush of cold breeze hit her as she shivered folding her hands across her chest. Armaan noticed it but he didn't have a blazer to give her which made him curse himself. They both were walking on the empty road. The weather was pleasant and windy. "I am leaving next week" Armaan broke the silence making Saanvi stop. She looked at him with questioning eyes. Her eyes indeed showed sadness. Sadness of not being able to see her best friend for god knows how long."Oh...so suddenly?" She asked putting a light smile on her face."Yeah. Some urgent work" he stated and they both continued walking as again the silence fell between them.Armaan gazed at Saanvi and at that moment, he wanted nothing more than to just take her in his embrace tightly. His heart was racing wildly while his lips were quivering to utter the words he has kept inside his heart for so long. He wanted to let them out and tell her how exactly he feels about her.But he couldn't gain the courage to do so. The fear of losin
