Linda carefully boiled the herbs for an hour and gave the concoction to Aiden to drink.

He was still barely conscious and extremely weak. Yet, he felt somewhat better than before.

A few hours later, around noon, Nolan noticed that Aiden’s complexion had significantly improved. He was astonished because Aiden had only drunk one bowl of herbal medicine. The color in his face was back, and his spirits were up. His fever had also started to subside.

The treatment only included some ointments and a bowl of alternative medicine. It was so simple, but it was able to help Aiden recover significantly.

“Mr. Lewis, you’re finally awake!”

Linda was shocked too. She was just wondering if Amy’s herbal pills and ointments were potent enough.

“Mr. Lewis, do you really not feel any discomfort?” she curiously asked.

Aiden took a sip of water and shook his head. “No. I feel much better.”
