A Night to Remember

Shanaya Singhania POV

"What happened?? Shanaya?? Is everything alright darling??"

"Yes, Mom. I just wanted to sleep here. Wanted to get some peace."

She kissed my cheeks and I had no idea when I slept there. When I got up Mom was also sleeping while sitting. I felt bad as she was uncomfortable because of me.

I kissed her. And she got up.

"Why didn't you wake me up mom??"

"After so many days you have slept like that. I didn't want to disturb you. You wanna sleep more ??"

"Yeah, but I am gonna change and will sleep in my room. You should take a rest."

I went back to my room and slept after changing. In the evening I went down and Mom was on the lawn.

I went there and she made tea for me and I was enjoying it when she asked

"What Is it?? "

"Nothing."

"You are not happy with this engagement."

"No, it's not like that. I am happy. Rahul is a really great person."

"I know that. And I know that he loves you so much but that's not my question Shanaya. Are you really happy?? I forgot when I sa
