The Assembly

The Assembly didn't waste time in summoning Logan. By the time Trisha had recovered from the succubus's magic, her mate was already there with her. 

"Well?" the reptilian-like member demanded of Sofia.

Sofia brushed her curly black locks over her shoulder, and over her wings. "She's been right here at the pack. There was a dust-up when she was on a date, and they were attacked by the Council, not the other way around."

"I see."

If Logan was surprised at the change in the story, he didn't show it. He just sat in a chair near Trisha his eye locked on hers. The other eye was behind yet another patch, this one reminding her of a pirate's black symbol.

"I was worried about you," he whispered as he entwined their hands together.

Trisha only had the chance to smile at him before the leader was once more in front of her. "You two will stay here until our guests arrive. You will not move from those seats."
