12. Too Late

The large, sturdy pillars stunned my eyes. This building is big and tall. I had to look up 90 degrees to see the beauty of the carved statues and the magnificent ceiling. The flooring is beautiful too, it's amazing.

"You like?" Anthony whispered in my ear.

I nodded, "It's beautiful, more than beautiful. Have you ever been here?" I asked and he shook his head. There's a slight sense of pride if I'm the only one he brought here. This place is quiet and I suspect that he will give a surprise here.

We joined hands and walked slowly towards the altar, and at the end, a priest was waiting. Was he serious about what he said earlier? My feet stopped walking until he stopped and I said, "Anthony, don't tell me that-"

"I told you earlier, we will remarry," he said. Can not be trusted. On what basis does he want our second marriage?

"What for?" I asked and let go of his hand. He wants to do things that are not important. What's the point of remarrying if he can still be in love with another
