I heard Zafer sigh, not because he was frustrated but more likely a sigh of relief when he heard Rayton's answer.

“Then what can I do now, all I wanted is you to be happy.” He holds my hands and squeezes them, “just keep in your mind that I am always here for you, not because I acting close with your step-brother ‘Byron’ is I neglect you, I’m on your side… Forever.” He whispers to me and without my consent, he hugged me tightly.

“Zafer…” I don’t know what to say, all this time I thought he just really wanted to gain some powers to strengthen both packs, but in the end, he just really cares about me.

It is safe to give my trust to him? After all, my mother trusted him since we were a child and before she dies… She still remembers to remind Zafer to take care of me.
