“Wow,” Maija gasps as she looks down at Scottish Highlands from our helicopter. A small smile cracks my lips seeing the pure joy on her face. At least she’s happy; this trip will be worth it if it makes her this happy. The pain in my chest surfaces, threatening to ruin the moment.
