Chapter 11: Who Told You To Accept His Flowers

Hurriedly, Robert's voice came in before Kendra said anything, “She is Bianca’s classmate,” He glanced at Kendra and invited Michael quickly, “Michael, let’s go to have lunch together.”

“Okay.” Michael said, but his eyes remained on Kendra, “Let’s go.”

Stunned, Kendra stood still, and Michael suddenly knocked her shoulder as they walked past her. Kendra’s books fell on the ground.

“I am sorry.” Michael apologized and helped Kendra pick the books up. He looked at the book’s cover that he picked up and frowned. When he gave the book back to Kendra, he whispered to her, “Good handwriting.” Then, Michael smiled at her.

After they left, Kendra still stood there and felt confused. What did Michael mean? She looked at her book and saw Michael's name on the cover that she randomly wrote earlier during the lecture. Damn!

For the day, Kendra couldn’t focus. She even couldn’t answer her professor’s questions.

Half-past five in the afternoon, Kendra finished all lessons and walked out of the campus. She needed to go back to the castle within half an hour to rest, and she wanted to stay alone for a while.

Suddenly, a young student of her age appeared in front of her and said, “Miss Miller, I have noticed you for a long time. I want to be your friend. This is for you.” He gave a bunch of white roses to Kendra.

Kendra felt surprised and said, “Oh, I….”

“Don’t you like white roses? What do you like? Tell me.” The boy said and blushed.

Nearby, Lendon, who just arrived minutes ago, witnessed how the boy approached Kendra. He stared at them in anger inside his black Bently. A pit of jealousy came flooding on his head. He finished his meeting early today and thought maybe he should visit Kendra’s school. But he didn’t expect that Kendra would accept another man’s flower. What was she doing? Lendon got off without hesitation.

Curtis and Lendon's bodyguards also followed him.

Kendra didn’t notice Lendon or Curtis. She looked at the roses and said, “I don’t like flowers, so…” She felt a little awkward.

“It’s fine. I can buy you other things. Do you like cars or houses?” The boy asked again. He sounded so naïve.

The next second, a man rushed to Kendra, grabbed her flowers away, rushed to the garbage bin, and dumped it.

Kendra looked up shockingly and saw Lendon’s angry face. What the hell?

Lendon stood a few steps away from Kendra. He wore an arrogant face and beckoned her, “Come here.”

“What?” Kendra stared at Lendon and asked shockingly.

“Come here!” Lendon shouted impatiently.

Kendra walked to Lendon and stood next to him. She lowered her head and cursed Lendon in her mind.

“What’s your name?” Lendon's eyes flew at the boy and asked.

The boy was shocked by Lendon's arrogant question and couldn’t answer him at all.

“I am asking you.” Lendon glared at the boy and roared.

The boy was so terrified and didn't dare to utter any words.

“Do you know who she is?” Lendon walked past Kendra, grabbed the boy’s collar, and warned.

The boy trembled and didn’t even dare to struggle.

“Curtis,” Lendon pushed the boy away and shouted, “find his name out and never let him appear at this school again.”

“Yes, my Lord,” Curtis hurriedly replied. He grabbed the boy's arms tightly.

Kendra stared at Lendon in disbelief and thought he was too rude.

“What are you looking at?” Lendon glared at Kendra’s and said,“ Pity for him? You don’t like what I did? Who told you to accept his flowers?” He seemed to be able to read Kendra’s thoughts.

“I,... I don’t,” Kendra stammered. What's up with this crazy man again? She thought.

Lendon turned around and held her arm tightly, leaned closer to her, whispered, “Why do you have that kind of look?” Kendra could smell his warm and heavy breath. His lips almost brush hers.

Kendra was so speechless. She was just so nervous and wouldn't dare to provoke him in public to avoid people's attention.

“Kendra, do you think you can do everything since I agree to let you come to school?” Lendon held Kendra’s chin and asked madly.

Kendra frowned innocently. She wanted to explain, but Lendon didn’t give her the chance to speak.

“Do you think I am kind?” Lendon continued to ask.

For God’s sake, who would say that he was kind? “No, I don’t,” Kendra said helplessly. How could Lendon be so unreasonable?

“Are you saying you didn't accept flowers or flirt with other men?” Annoyed, Lendon asked again.

What was he talking about? Kendra pushed Lendon away and said, “I didn’t accept flowers. I didn’t flirt with other men. He is innocent. You can’t do that to him.”

“Do I need your approval?” Lendon sneered and glanced at the boy, who was trembling.

“Curtis! Throw him out!”

“Yes, My Lord,” Curtis nodded and told two bodyguards to take the boy away.

The boy was too scared to defend himself.

“Come with me.” Lendon grabbed Kendra’s hands and forced her to get inside the car.

Lendon slammed the car door heavily and locked Kendra on the seat. Curtis and the driver didn’t get on, so they were alone.

“What are you doing?” Kendra looked at Lendon in horror and asked nervously. Realizing what he's planning to do, she quickly covered her breast with her arms tightly.

“I want to have you here, right now. This is your punishment,” Lendon rubbed Kendra’s waist and lowered his head to kiss her lips. He got closer and closer, but Kendra stopped him with her hands.

“Are you crazy? We are at my school, and we are in your car.” Kendra pushed Lendon away and yelled.

“Now, you realize it’s your school, huh? Why do you talk to another man? Do you ask for my permission?” Lendon glared at Kendra and said. He didn’t stop rubbing Kendra’s skin, even her hands are on his chest, preventing him from kissing her.

Kendra looked out and saw bodyguards surrounding the car to block other people’s eyesight. But if they really made love here, there must be noise. People would know what was happening inside.

“I am sorry, Lendon.” Kendra felt afraid and begged.

“Now you are sorry, huh?” Lendon sneered.

“I really am sorry. I will never go against your order, I promise.” Kendra stared at Lendon and said sincerely.

“So your apology is serious, huh?” Lendon's naughty smile appeared while forcing himself to lean forward.

“Of course I am serious,” Kendra answered immediately.

Lendon narrowed his eyes and stared at Kendra for a while.

Finally, he let go of her and said, “Woman, remember what you said. I can forgive you this time," He straightened his body and roared, "Curtis, let’s go back.”

Kendra felt relieved and wiped her sweats. She couldn’t even imagine what would happen if she didn’t beg.

They went back to the castle immediately. After dinner, Kendra got Bianca’s message. She explained Robert’s words and behavior earlier to appease Kendra.

Kendra didn’t even reply to Bianca. When Kendra’s mom was still alive, Kendra did like her home. But after the accident, everything had changed.

“Miss Miller,”

Someone suddenly called Kendra outside her room.

Kendra jumped out of bed, opened the door, and saw a maidservant standing in front of her.

“Why don’t you put your uniform on?” The maidservant asked.

Kendra lowered her head and looked at her clothes. “I will put it on now.” She said,

“Don’t forget to go to the study room. It’s your shift today.” The maidservant said coldly and left.

Kendra sighed and put her uniform on once she was left alone. It was her shift to serve Lendon today. When Kendra was trained, she was told that no matter what Lendon asked them to do and how hard and impossible it was, she should do it. That was what a qualified maidservant should do.

Kendra walked to Lendon’s study and felt annoyed. What if Lendon wanted a star? How could she find a star for him? She thought and rolled her eyes.
