Avery’s pov

I could feel him watching from the door, I intentionally left it open so I can be aware of whoever walks by. I had to observe my surroundings carefully if I intend to make a smooth escape, yes you heard me right.

From the moment I laid eyes on him at the restaurant I knew something wasn’t right, I had a strange urge to run far from him but it also seemed like I would be leaving something behind.

In the end I got to find out about our children together, I must’ve been craving for them subconsciously. So I devised a plan, first to let him drop his guards and sneak out when he least expects.

But he was watching me carefully like a hawk, just then I heard voices behind the door. The other person was a female judging from her tone, I was curious about her identity. Was she perhaps another side chick of his?
