Cesca Anna.
She was the only bloodline borne by Ehrlich's King Edgar II and was politically married off to Coulson, the prince of the neighboring kingdom. Edgar II had no other children when he was nearing the end of his life. The old king's problems worsened as his death approached. In the Kingdom of Ehrlich, no woman had ever been crowned king. Nonetheless, the old king handed over the next throne to his one and only child and daughter at the last minute, leaving his last will and testament on his deathbed.
Will he?
'My daughter, Anna Cesca, will be the next king.'
Some faithfully followed the king's last will and testament, while others did not. There were dissenting voices until some of the nobles conspired to crown the king's cousin, Duke of Lucas, as the next king and imprison Anna in the castle.
The successful coronation of Ehrlich's throne appeared simple at first, but things quickly changed when Anna escaped the castle she was imprisoned in with the help of Coulson.
Anna quickly embraced Coulson's aristocracy, infuriating the Ehrlich nobles. Of course, her action was merely to demonstrate that, as a woman, she, too, was capable of leading. And she was correct. Because of her intelligence, temperament, and brevity, she led the nobles in Coulson. She was a strong-willed woman who, despite having a child at a young age, donned battle armor and rode through the battlefield with her warhorse.
The civil war and throne struggle lasted a year. Anna and Lucas, unable to bear the thought of their country crumbling, met and reached an agreement. Which was :
After Lucas's death, the throne would be passed to Anna's son rather than her.
As a result, the treaty was signed.
The war was over, and the country was soon at peace. And, because Lucas died at a young age, Anna's son quickly ascended to the throne, but because he was young and inexperienced, Anna was currently in charge of all state affairs.
At the end of Ehrlich and Coulson's civil war, Alicia's mother, who was of Coulson royal blood, came to visit her relative, Anna. Alicia's mother fell in love with her father at that time. And after her mother married and settled in Ehrlich, her interactions with Anna remained consistent and steady, to the point where the Queen was willing to become her child's godmother.
Alicia's letter could never be ignored by Anna.
She was the beloved cousin's daughter.
“….Okay…”
Ted gave up and raised a white flag. He handed the documents to Alicia, who began reading the documents and the terms and conditions with ease.
Looking at her, Ted wondered how she found out about their tax evasion. But he lacked the courage to inquire. And, strangely, she appeared to be an experienced, mellowed adult, not a 12-year-old child who'd just lost her mother, but someone used to serving a large number of people.
It was difficult to understand why he thought that way.
"Exactly as I predicted."
Alicia opened several pages in front of Ted as she carefully studied the documents.
"I'd like to hear an advisor's take on the interpretation of these provisions." Alicia laughed.
"Of course, it will go exactly as I want it to. Unless, of course, you prefer rotting in jail."

Lawyer Ted Gowan was tense the whole time he was waiting for Latty to arrive with the carriage. He paid close attention to Alicia's directions while he fidgeted nervously. When she was finished, he had no time to drink his tea and dashed out the door to carry out her orders.
"What did you discuss with the lawyer?"
"I told him to freeze all of my assets."
Alicia responded to Latty's question, which was met with an expression of intense interest on her face.
“Miss?”
"My father will not be able to handle it."
Latty was about to ask another stupid question when Alicia turned her head and looked out the window. She drew back the curtains and stared silently as the carriage approached the gates.
"The Count has arrived, Miss."
Latty exclaimed cheerfully.
“Yes. He'll be accompanied by a guest."
"A visitor? Coming today?"
Latty leaned back and wrapped her hand around her cheek.
"Oh my goodness, what are we going to do? I'm not ready to entertain any visitors!"
"Don't worry. As soon as she arrives, I'll send her back."
"But, Miss, that's impolite..."
"Latty, let's go." Alicia said as she let go of the curtains.
As soon as they heard that the Count had arrived back home, the maids and servants got right to work. Alicia waited on the second floor stairwell for the door to open. She'd been a busybody in her previous life, crying her heart out and missing her dead mother. She ran out that day, overjoyed to learn that her father had returned. She needed to see his face as soon as possible to fill the void in her heart. All she wanted and sought was comfort and consolation, as well as to share her grief over the loss of her mother and his wife. He was the only one who could possibly understand and share her sadness, and she even expected her heartless father to embrace her in his arms...But that was far from the case. When she ran out the door, she saw a little girl holding her father's large hands. She had a feeling the child was related to him the moment she saw the child's happy, twinkling eyes. And she quickly discovered this.He didn't think twice about confirming it himself.Patricia Kenboe
When the King, who later became Alicia's partner and husband, launched an all-out investigation, one that was originally launched with the intent of capturing the Queen's power, Count Kenboe was instead apprehended. At the time, the young King, who had only recently begun dealing with state affairs, was full of spirit and vigour to do everything he could to avoid his mother's shadow during the converging clean-up.Despite sharing the same blood, the young King and Queen had a strained relationship. The Queen, who should have been King by nature, did not easily relinquish her power during the converging clean-up process, which was a major impediment for the young King, who had only recently begun his statehood affairs. That'd also been the reason he'd been hostile to Alicia from the start, with the exception of their first meeting.Alicia was the Queen's relative and goddaughter, and she had blood ties to the Coulson forces he'd been fighting.Though the truth was his obvious friendlin
In an instant, the air became chilly and froze. Everyone was taken aback by Alicia's abrupt remarks toward the Count, her father. They were astounded. The Count and Patricia, both speechless, opened their mouths. The old butler was the first to realize what was going on."What do you... what are you trying to say, My Lady?""I recently spoke with the lawyer and completed the necessary procedures. Starting today, Alicia Kenboe, the rightful heir, is the owner of this estate, and I now exercise all rights to the property inherited from my deceased mother. First and foremost, to the visitor I never allowed into my home, please leave. And to you as well, father."“Alicia!"The Count roared, his face flushed with rage."What in the world are you doing?" Come down right now! ”Count Kenboe was enraged and ordered Alicia to exit the stairwells immediately. When Alicia ignored his words and looked at him blankly, he yelled angrily once more."Your house? What a load of nonsense! You've got t
Alicia, ironically, benefited from the marriage contract following her mother's death."Back then, you had a choice. You could have refused to marry mother... you could have sacrificed fame and fortune to be with your loved one. Perhaps you and mother are happy. "Neither would I have been born."Alicia spoke her thoughts aloud for the first time. Her father was a self-centered individual. He was given a fair choice: for fame and wealth that he would never achieve in his lifetime, he'd have to forget his old lover and at least... learn to love the woman he would marry. Even if his heart was with another woman, it was a man's duty to care for and love his wife and daughter. It was a simple decision. He, however, did not.He had an affair with another woman and had a child with her.Perhaps it was for the best that her late mother died before she discovered the truth."Your mother was a terrifying woman who had pushed her away without my knowledge!" This child would not have suffered as
“…What? ”The Count was taken aback."Once you've calmed down and had a proper conversation with Lady Alicia...""You idiot!"Count Kenboe clenched his teeth. The old butler was a knowledgeable and nagging man who was a pain in his neck all the time, but he kept him around because of his loyalty. He did a good job, and his wife and daughter adored him."Are you saying you'll betray me and side with her?"He laughed.“Alright. I'll evict both you and Alicia! ”In a frenzy, the Count walked up the stairs. He waved his hand at Alicia in a single motion. And she closed her eyes, expecting it. She knew it would come to this, but she didn't mind. His assault would make evicting him easier.Boom!Instead of the expected burning tingling sensation, she heard someone rolling around on the floor. When Alicia opened her eyes, she saw Latty lying on the floor.“Latty!”The Count clicked his tongue as he realized he'd beaten the maid rather than Alicia. Latty unexpectedly stepped into the middle,
"What are you doing? Get him out of here now!"The employees exchanged glances and quickly turned their gaze away from him. They recently examined the documents, which bore the lawyer's signature and were certified by him. And based on what they had heard, they knew that if they supported the Count, they would be kicked out of the mansion with him."You... you"Alicia, who was quietly watching, parted her lips open."Eject the Count and his child politely."When Alicia's voice faded, a few strong servants moved. The Count did not realize his current situation until he was forced to leave."Al... Alicia! You're a jerk!""Don't worry, father. You will receive a minimum pension."Her voice was cold and devoid of any warmth."It won't be enough, but it will be enough to make a living and have a roof over your head." Regardless, I am still your daughter..."“Alicia!”Ignoring the Count's shrill voice, Alicia descended the stairwell slowly. Patricia, on the other hand, was perplexed by the
"Send them away."The two were immediately kicked out of the house after Alicia's words fell.Alicia, of course, knew this was not the end. Her father would try to reclaim the estate by using all of his resources, but he would eventually realize that all means of resistance would be futile."Let's get you treated, Latty. Was it painful? ”Alicia looked at James after giving Latty a warm hug."I'd like to speak with you after Latty's treatment, James.""Certainly, My Lady."Alicia dragged Latty into her room with her small hand. It appeared to be a child dragging a large, cuddly bear."Why did you do that, Latty?"Alicia inquired, tapping Latty's cheeks with a cold towel."What exactly do you mean?"”"How come you allowed yourself to be hurt? Like a fool...""You're a young lady, Miss. You're petite. If the Count really hit you, you'd die, and he'd go to... I'd rather take the risk and be sick for a few days."Alicia looked at Latty with affection and anguish. Latty was pure and kind-
************(Flashback)Anna Corty suffered humiliation as a young, naive princess. She was imprisoned in the castle for failing to recognize the signs of impending rebellion. She vowed she would never make the same mistakes again.Anna temporarily arrested the nobles who supported the late king's sons after learning of their malicious ploys and plot.Anna was correct. The nobles resisted vehemently, but their efforts were futile because they were quickly imprisoned due to damning evidence that no one could deny. If their plans came to fruition, it would be considered retaliation. So, before they could act, Anna severed all of their limbs. The late king's sons hid from Anna's gaze from then on.Since then, Anna has worked on a number of burdens and tasks in order to establish a strong, centralized government, including fixing the tax system, disbanding the nobility-affiliated knights, and weakening the aristocratic empire. The reigning Queen gained a notorious reputation as the most f
