13. Keenan's attention

              Lily hissed softly after straightening up. Her steps became shaky because of the fall just now. Unfortunately. The car was getting closer. It had even blocked her way.

"Why are you running?"

The cold, flat voice made him look up quickly. "Keenan?"

"Why? Who do you think I am, huh? A kidnapper?" said Keenan, who was already holding his nose while looking at him sarcastically.

"Sorry, I thought it was-"

"Come in. Don't waste any more of my time," cut Keenan off quickly. The man then immediately stepped into the car. While the driver opened the other door for Lily. Huh. The woman cursed inwardly. She had forgotten that her husband had many luxury vehicles. That's why she didn't recognize the color and license plate of a car that she wasn't familiar with.
