Chapter 12 Distinguishing Lilian from her

In the bathroom, water trickled down. On this autumn night, it was already getting cold. But Darwin was still showering in cold water, pouring it over his head.

Today, Fiona's every action and expression replayed in his mind, particularly the look of her tears, humiliation, fear, and despair as she stared at him. Darwin grew more and more anxious. "What's up?" Darwin asked coldly.

Upon hearing Fiona's name, Darwin's expression grew even more unpleasant, as if he was about to close the door.

"Her dress was torn, and she seemed to have been crying; she looked so pitiful." Wyatt held the door, hastily explaining.

Darwin's heart sank at once. He fell silent for a moment.

Furrowing his brow, he asked, "What did she say?"
