Injured

Nikolai wanted to chase the men who attacked him. But he couldn't bring himself to leave Ivy alone. The bullet just grazed past his abdomen, but still he started to feel dizzy. He shook his head stubbornly to suppress his dizziness. He stumbled towards the area where he hid Ivy. Under the blanket of darkness, he found her folded into herself while tightly shutting her eyes while shielding her ears with her arms.

"Angel" he gently touched her shoulder. She jumped at his touch, but soon recovered when she noticed that it was Nikolai.

"Mr. Knight...." her words died in her throat when she saw blood seeping from his shirt.

"Nikolai, you are injured" she cried and sat up hurriedly to help him. But whatever his enemies coated the bullets with is making him increasingly dizzy. He stumbled again. This time Ivy stood up to her feet to assist him from falling.

But despite her efforts to help him, she couldn't hold his entire weight. He stumbled again and fell down. This time Ivy too fell down
