Chapter Fifty-Nine - Auction

Tori’s POV

I couldn’t believe my sister was down here and at the mercy of these perverts.

“Surprise, surprise!” Tommy taunted.

“They’ve given her the wrong mask,” Alex said.

“How do you mean?”

The voice was ice cold and angry. So my stepbrother was no more than a crony. It wouldn’t help us now. Unless I could make them fall out somehow. He could be unpredictable when he lost his temper.

“I specifically told them white after personally examining the goods.”

And there it was: my cue. I didn’t care if I was talking out of turn.

“You had no right, Alex!” I stormed.

“Who asked you, kitten?”

“She has a point,” Moore said, setting down his glass.

“Let me have her, Alpha Archer.”

“Behave, Dante. You’ve done well so far but you’re way down the pecking order in here. This changes things. I was thinking of bringing the auction forward in any case. Let’s head downstairs, gentlemen and lady. This needs to be done properly.”
