Liam gritted his teeth. His face contorted with pain. “Sir, I know I said things that offended you, but do you need to be so vengeful?”

“I am that way. What about it?”

Elijah smiled thinly. He raised his glass of wine and sipped. “I heard that you took advantage of my woman many times.”

Liam was startled. “Your woman?”

“Sally Summers.”

Liam froze as if he had been shocked by electricity.

Sally was thin and small, and of all places, she originated from a village. How did she get acquainted with a man of such stature?

And she had become his woman, no less...

Liam instinctively gazed and scanned the man whose eyes were covered by a blindfold. “Sir…”

“If we’re gonna be all manners and etiquette, perhaps I should address you as my older cousin.”
