I took slow, deliberate steps across the battlefield, my heart heavy with grief and rage intertwining in a tumultuous storm within me. The scene before me was a chilling tableau of devastation, the aftermath of an attack we never saw coming. As I approached my people, each face etched with pain and shock, I could feel their collective anguish weighing heavily on my shoulders.
