Chapter - 13
I woke up to the sound of my alarm while blinking my eyes and looked around. She wasn't in her bed. I stood and walked out of her room.
I heard some sounds coming from the kitchen. I walked in the direction of the sound. Elena was making something.
"You're up. Will you eat pancakes with eggs and bacon? I don't know what you like so I…"
I hugged her.
"W-What happened? Did you have any nightmares?``She asked me.
I broke from the hug and said, "Are you okay?" While asking I held her chin and checked her lips, it was back to normal.
She chuckled and asked, "What are you doing?"
"I'm checking if it's still…"
"Still what?"
She asked me like she didn't know that her lips were swollen yesterday. Let's leave it like this.
"Nothing."

Nick's pov;I came to a nearby take out restaurant near Elena's place since we're both tired of cleaning the place and didn't cook for lunch.Mi Casa Americana. Elena's pov; Finally we finished cleaning the place together, and Nick went out to buy some lunch since we're tired of making one at home. In the meantime, I started watching a horror movie which I mostly watch and the only genre can be found in here. I haven't bought other genres since I'm not interested. After some time he returned with the food but fled before eating it. I ate the food after waiting for him for a long time and started watching a movie. Nick came finally. He sat beside me asking me what I ate and what movie I was watching and stuff like that. While he was talking with me, I smelled alcohol on him. Seeing me sniffing on him he said, "I had a beer."
