Chapter XVI: Intense Encounter

Before we get to the venue, an argument arises. Dad called two of his drivers to drive for us to the venue but I told him that we will take the Ford Ranger since I will be returning it.

"You should have told me earlier. I need to make some calls to get another driver," he said furiously. Hindi na ako umimik pa dahil ayoko nang palalain ang sitwasyon.

"Don't worry. Dad is stressed out since he will face the media. His OCD is just taking over him," Kuya from my side said.

My mind is in chaos and my stomach is grumbling. I don't know if it's the nervousness of facing the media or anxiety. Ang tanging nasa isip ko lang ay dapat perpekto ako. I have to be perfect from the way I walk to the way I talk. Another factor of my nervousness is the fact that I'll be meeting Samantha again. I don't know what it is but whenever she's around I feel like I need to be on guard.
