Captor

The following day, Myra felt a rough hand caressing her belly while a warm breath fanned her neck. A shiver ran through her body, and she clutched her eyes tight in fear. No matter how much she tried to even her labored breath, the panic was apparent when her eyelashes welled up with unshed tears. The touch disgusted her, but unfortunately, she was not in a position to retaliate.

Her heart rapidly beat inside her. She wanted to scream at the person lying behind her, too close to her personal space. She wanted to rip his hand that was touching her and push him away from her and her unborn child. Even her child didn’t welcome his touch and kicked harshly inside her. This kick made the person stop caressing the belly, earning a chuckle.

“Our baby loves my touch,” he whispered, and Myra shudders in fear.

“I know you are awake,” he said in amusement.
