Mara’s pov

“Azure, let her go.'' I stopped in my tracks when I heard his voice.

My head whipped to where it came from, and I sighted him, fresh from the shower with water dripping around his toned form.

He had some shorts on and a towel around his shoulders, he had just woken up.

I glared at him with every ounce of hate I had in my soul, and I left.

I left without saying a word to him, but my glare said everything that needed to be said.

I wouldn't want to be in a house where no one treated me any better than the outside. Although I was Luna, I wasn't feeling it one bit.

I got to my workplace and Chelsea grabbed me by the hand, “I don't know how you are going to talk to your boss, but you better have a good explanation.

And don't tell your boss that you will get married to the alpha, or you’ll be out faster than yesterday's trash.” she gave me a sturdy pat on my shoulder, and she turned around just as she was leaving “And you still owe me.” she reminded me.

Chelsea was
