And when the next morning came, the day was ripe for the limitless fun people found only in Vegas. Lora Lins got up from her huge bed, in front of a winter fireplace, feeling like the most privileged woman in town for having that vision.

Lora put on her fine silk robe and walked out of the room. The sunny morning shimmered outside the apartment, illuminating the sins of Las Vegas, gilding its promiscuous image. The room was filled with large windows, all facing the most desirable part of the city, the Strip.

Even with the blinding glare of the sun, her day took on shadows when she arrived in the apartment's living room and found her father. Jean Lins was sitting on one of the sofas in the living room, next to a man in a suit and Drake. His friend looked like a surfer next to two mercenaries; completely displaced. He wore pajamas while the men wore dark suits. The image clearly said that Lora and Drake had been approached without any warning.
