"Can the kitten sleep in my bed?" Emily was quick to ask, she's still sleeping in the guest bedroom, not ready to give in yet and move to her designated nursery.
"She'll sleep with her daddy," Mathéo turns her down, making her frown."Maybe I can ask Jace, the girls seem to be getting along, putting them in one room would be easier to keep an eye on them through the night too," Callina steps in when she saw her little frowning, she agrees with her husband, Jace need the rest and Emily is responsible enough to call them in case of emergencies."Fine, go ask him, I'll change her," Mathéo finally agrees, Emily would be dressed in new pull-ups and a pj, although she hates it, but she'd been wearing pull-ups on daily basis ever since the accident.Mathéo finished tucking her in when Jace joined him with a sleeping Kitten in his arms, she always falls asleep after her bottle, he exchanged the empty bottle for a pacifier.Jace agreed with Callina on placing both girls in one room, it'll give him a chance to rest while the baby kitten sleep next to her new friend, he had in a sleeping bag just in case though. He kissed his kitten and his friend's little before leaving the room, he had to give it to Callina, she was right her doe eyes did get his heart captive."Talk," Mathéo ordered him."Get me a drink first," Jace order back, they settled down to two glasses of whiskey and one Martini for the lady."I'm sorry to say, I agree with Mathéo, you do look like hell, what happened?" Callina starts the conversation."It's nothing, I'm just jetlagged" Jace lies."Those bags are older than a day or even two," Callina points again, to his bad under eye bags."Mollis haven't been sleeping well," he blame it on his kitten."You look thinner from last time too, your shirt is a bit baggy and creased," Callina says."Thank you, I'm trying a new diet," Jace lies, he didn't need to loose weight, he used to workout regularly and stayed in shape."Jace, you don't look happy," Callina adds the final nail to the coffin, that was Jace's breaking point."Oh really! I didn't know! Is there anything else you'd like to point? Like how miserable my life have been!" Jace screams he didn't mean to snap at his friend, he loves Callina, if she wasn't married to his best friend, he'd marry her himself, she was and still is a catch."Fine sorry," Callina breaks tears rimming her eyes, she was worried about him."Callina, don't cry, please don't cry, I can't take anymore tears!" Jace gets on his knees apologizing to Callina, holding her hands, tears brimming his own eyes, he was exhausted, he came here to rest not fight."Jace, we love you, but you can't lash out at us, tell us what's wrong?" Mathéo joins them, placing his hands on top of Jace's."I...I don't think I'm enough for Mollis..." Jace says out loud confessing for the first time his deepest fear."What? What do you mean?" Mathéo asks him not believing for a second that his Jace isn't enough."Mollis is an odd case, since the minute she was rushed in I felt connected to her, everyone thought she was going to do die," Jace says tears going down his face remembering that painful day."I adopted her because I couldn't allow anyone else to have her, but then she came to my crappy apartment, I didn't even have toys for her," Jace keeps on going while the other two remain quiet listening to him."She cries most day unless if I'm holding her, she's a picky eater and I'm so exhausted after work, I simply give her bottles, Fuck, she doesn't even have a favorite toy! Not until now she took the white rabbit with her to bed, I should've have bought her a soft toy! I'm a freaking doctor, I studied about neko, I took courses about kittens and when I got my own! I'm neglecting her!" Jace cries hurt, he should've done better with Mollis but he's failing as her dada."You aren't being negligent, you're just busy, it's all too overwhelming for you," Callina jumps right in, not able to see the strong and might Jace broken hearted sobbing."Jace, look at me," Mathéo order him in his firmest voice, Mathéo had some dom in him too."You aren't a bad daddy or master, you just need some help, and we're here to offer you that help. You two are welcome here for as long as you need it, we'll help you through this," Mathéo says, while Callina nodded agreeing with him, Jace clearly and desperately needs the help."I don't want to impose," Jace tries to respectfully refuse, he can't stay over his friend place and ask him to help with his kitten. "You're not," Mathéo answer him quickly. "You got your own little you need to take care of," Jace says again. "Emily is in love with the kitten, she even asked me if we can keep her while I was getting tucking her in," Mathéo answer him again. "What about you two, I don't want to third wheel your relationship," Jace says starting to run out of excuses to why he can't stay. "You won't, you're welcome in our bed anytime," Callina says licking her lips, she might be a tiny bit tipsy, she's too light weight when it comes to alcohol. "Callina you don't mean that," Jace says groaning, he haven't had sex in almost a year now, he can't blame that on the kitten, more on his bad bedside manners. "Why not? You told me on my birthday you'd marry me if I ever leave Mathéo, and I know you two used to be a thing, I don't see why not," Callina says, definitely d
Jace woke up sandwiched between Callina and Matheo, he opened his eyes and sighed, last night was too long and eventful. Thankfully both littles have slept through the night, Mollis never sleep through the night, she usually wakes up a few times and cries until he gives her another bottle and bounces her around until she sleeps. He doesn't have a crib for her, too busy to buy one, and those are way too expensive for him to splurge on, especially when the kitten only agrees to sleep in his arms. "She slept through the night," Jace mumble out loud, he felt satisfied, and in peace. "Told you Emily got magic," Callina mumbles, she had a massive headache, she never drinks, she works with high schoolers, the worse kind of kids, if she ever gets to work with a hangover, they'll chew her alive, those judgy little things. She doesn't regret what they did last night, she enjoyed it so much, if it wasn't for her headache and the littles who need attention now, she's definitely would take Jace
"Matheo, you can't make me stay, thank you for yesterday, but that's it, I need to leave, I need to take my kitten and leave," Jace declare, he can't stay here anymore, this was wrong, there's no hope for them, this isn't a relationship, this was a one-night thing. "I'm not making you Jace, only god can you do things you don't want to do," Matheo says with a laugh, he knows his friend all too well. "Then we say our goodbye," Jace says getting out from the bed, picking his clothes up, there things were a mess on the floor, he was hunting for his things but he couldn't find them. "Jace, just hear me out," Matheo says, seeing the other guy struggle with finding any of his clothes. "Can I borrow some of your clothes?" Jace says, he wasn't about to walk naked around the house to get his suitcase, there's little around. "Sure, only if you listen to me first, we can't make you stay, we want you to stay with us, you said it last night," Matheo says trying to sound logical, his friend wan
Callina was done with dressing the little kitten, she moved to her own little, Emily was trying to show her that she's a big girl, trying to show off in front of the kitten. She decided to try and dress herself, but the first obstacle was taking her pj off, Matheo had her dressed in a footie onesie when she objects to those he explained how even big people wear those. Callina owns a few of those for cold nights, he said they could match one day, she couldn't wait. "Let mommy help you," Callina lays her down on the bed against her will, Emily started to fuss and whine wanting to sit back up, but Callina kept a firm hand on keeping her down. "Millie cry?" Mollis asks, she didn't like seeing the other girl crying, she's falling in love with Emily, she even promised to be her big sister. "No Millie isn't crying, are you baby Millie? You won't cry in front of the kitten," Callina says, that got the little one to settle, for now, she doesn't want to look bad in front of the other girl.
"Oh my god Cally, you're..." Matheo says, his wife is lactating, Emily couldn't have pushed her body this far, Emily would throw a million fit before she agrees to nurse, she's not ready, that would only hurt Callina. "I know that, what are we going to do now?" Callina asks, she was shocked, overwhelmed, and afraid, she's afraid of getting rejected by Emily, she knows that girl isn't ready for this. "This isn't a bad thing Cally, your body is reacting to having a little," Jace says not understanding why Callina was sad, or on the verge of tears, her body reacts to her little, her aura reflecting on her mommy's body. "But Emily isn't ready for this," Callina breaks down to tears, her body is betraying her, it's too early for this, it'll take Emily months, if not years for her to be okay with nursing, that made her cry even more. "Oh," Jace says, he saw heard about these situations back in the hospitals, sometimes caregivers try to push their littles into younger headspace, sometime
Millie's tears soon caused Mollis to cry too, she didn't know why but her sister was crying, that wasn't good, Callina decided to take her chance with the younger kitten. She took her out of Mathéo's arms and went on the search for new toys to play with, they had tone of baby toys Emily haven't touched yet, they could share them. Millie was now left with her two meanie daddies, her mommy and sister have bailed on her, that made her cry even more. Jace tried talking to her, assuring they won't hurt her, but exams are a bad thing in her dictionary. "Let's get this over with," Mathéo decides to start the exam, Millie won't stop crying until she knows they are done. First he needed to check her weight and height, Millie is eighteen, major body changes usually happen at the age of eighteen. He had her medical record from her parents when he officially adopted her as his little, he had numbers to compare. They owned a scale in his office, along with a small first aid kit, and a few thin
Millie was cuddling with Jace, while Mollis was sitting in Callina's arms, Matheo was left out, Millie is mad at him while Molly just wanted to cuddle with her new mama, she called Callina mama while playing, it made the other girl fly with happiness. Since he was the odd one out, Matheo went to his office to make some calls, he's been taking every Saturday off to spend time with Emily and his wife, but right now he needs to call the hospital help. "Hello," He says to the phone. "Doctor Matheo, is everything okay?" his boss says answering the phone, he never calls when he's on his days off. "Yeah, everything okay, I'm just looking for some medical referral," Matheo says. "Well, you're one of our best little doctors," his boss says laughing, he knows he's good, but that's not why he called. "Actually, I'm in search of someone who could help us mentally," Matheo says with a small smile. "You need a psychiatrist?" his boss asks confused from the request. "It's more of family help
Mollis woke up in the same bed as the night before, she remembers falling asleep in Callina's arms, she really enjoys her new relationship with Callina. But she wants to get to her big space so she can talk to her, Molly been a kitten for a month now, and big headspace only happened twice, first time when Jace asked to be her daddy/owner, and the second time was when the judge asked who she wants her daddy to be. She saw Millie asleep next to her too, she also like Millie she wants to talk back to her, she's been doing the most of the talking lately. When she didn't manage to get to her big space, Molly felt frustrated, she began to cry, why is her body so against her. Jace came in running, picking her up, he bounced her until she calmed down and then changed her, she noticed that Millie was also awake now. Both girls got dressed and ready to go somewhere, she wanted to ask where they going, but the only words that left her mouth were mumbles, and words that couldn't be understood.
