MELISSA’S POV

“I heard that. Who said you can’t have fun with your boss? Let’s have today and make the best out of it.” He said, with a smile and walked towards the water.

I followed him, fiddling with my hands and unsure of how to act around him. As we got to the water side, my attention was caught by a couple who were having fun and it made me to remember my father and mother who died in a car accident.

Suddenly, water splashed on my face and I looked at the direction in which it came from and to my surprise, it was Stefan who splashed the water at me. He was smiling widely, with his nice set of teeth showing. I giggled.

“Okay Melissa. Let’s forget he is the boss and enjoy today.” I said to myself and then ran towards him, beaming with smiles.

“Be careful. You could slip.” He chuckled as he tried to run from me.

I laughed out loud because I was excited.

“If you are able to catch me, I will grant you a wish of yours and if you don’t, you will grant me a wish.” He said, with a smile
