Elena gasped in shock as her body launched off the edge of the cliff and began to roll down the mountain.

Tears streamed from her eyes and her screams intensified as she rolled down the mountain.

With her eyes shut and her skin burning, her secrets intensified. She couldn’t break her fall, not that she had any strength to do so.

Her body got hit over and over again as her forehead violently scratched different branches, her legs breaking through thick trunks, her back hitting hard rocks and her flesh being consumed by fire which didn’t seem to be reducing.

Halfway through her fall, Elena passed out from the pain and finally came to rest at the foot of the mountain.

The last dregs of the fire spluttered and went out, and thick smoke and the smell of roasted flesh rose from Elena.
