The day I was finally leaving the hospital had arrived. I breathed in the fresh air outside, feeling the warm sun on my skin after what seemed like a long time inside the hospital's plain walls.

Enid walked with me towards the car and opened the door with a kind smile. It was still new to see him caring for me, but it made me happy.

"I'm so glad to be leaving the hospital. If I had to stay inside and look at those plain walls and ceiling for any longer, I might have gone crazy," I said, my voice weak but full of thanks.

I hadn't fully regained my strength yet, which was expected since I lost a lot of blood. It would take some time for me to fully recover, but I already felt stronger.

Since waking up from the coma, I felt much lighter, like I had let go of a burden and was free from some chains.

Enid started the car, helped me fasten my seatbelt, and then surprised me with a sweet kiss on my lips.

"Let's go home," he said, driving away.
