24. Ruined
Henry's p.o.v
It's been weeks since I've been searching for Paula and her ladies. I really didn't know where else to look. Her father knew nothing of her disappearance and I made sure it stayed that way. If he was to find out that I was so cruel to his only daughter, he would have either taken her back or made my kingdom into his enemy.
I was so scared and heartbroken, there was never a day that went by without me remembering her beautiful smile and stubborn character. Most times I usually found myself laughing, and on rare times crying for her. I needed her so much and I was willing to do anything if she were to ask. All I wanted was to have her forgiveness.
The doors to my bed chamber's opened and Jack walked in.
"What?" I asked huskily.
He shook his head sadly then moved closer.
