Author’s POV

“Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there.” Claude apologized swiftly. She was already covered in guilt.

“No, it’s not you.” The girl said, wiping her snort with her hands.

“Denver!! We have a situation at hand!” She called him. She knew he was probably hiding around one of the bushes and from the odd way the berry bushes looked She knew at once that he was behind it.

He did not comment.

“Come on, I know you are hiding behind those berry bushes so quit acting like a cry baby and come out of there!!” She yelled, festering with her hands.

She heard a loud some of the protest. It came from the direction of the bush. Soon after he was out, there were leaves on his clothes and hair. He had a tight expression on his face as he was headed her way m. She chuckled at the sight of him.

“Nice decoration boy.” She teased, laughing.

The girl turned around and when she saw Denver she couldn’t take her eyes off him.

“What happened?” He asked, ignoring her laughter.
