Ryn chuckled weakly, "you know my grandson so well I’m starting to think he might actually be yours".

"You need to rest, Ryn," Gabriel said, worried for his friend.

"And so are you", Ryn countered back.

"I’m fine my friend you don't have to worry", he assured Gabriel but his voice was weak giving him away.

"Okay, I'll let her know. Take it easy on the boy".

"You know I am", Ryn said in a matter of fact tone. Then a knock was heard on the door.

"I'll call you back later", Ryn hung up, and looked at the door already knowing who it was.

"Morning Grandpa", Charles greeted, walked over to his grandpa who sat on his rocking chair.

"If I remember correctly, I sent for you yesterday not today", Ryn said with a displeased look.

"Am sorry grandpa, I was busy but am here now", Charles lied smoothly, Ryn scoffed at his grandson's excuse.
