The ride back home was silent, the air in the car awkward. Kate stared out the window as they drove out, past the estate into the city.

"So where do you live?" Charles asked as took a quick glance at Kate.

"Pearls garden, 2nd house on the right", Kate answered, still looking out the window.

Charles nodded, "he knew that estate, it wasn't very far from the office", he thought.
