CHAPTER 61: Betrayed and broken

Cassius’ POV

I felt like my heart was being squeezed by a cold metal fist and shattering into a million pieces, watching my mate and my beta together in bed. If the sting from a bee was painful, I could say that betrayal from both of them stung sharper than a thousand bees.

I wouldn’t say I was expecting this or wasn't. I don’t really know how I am feeling right now. Betrayed and broken.

These were people that had an argument before I left for the conference, and Selene said Garret was annoying and she didn't want to get stuck with him.

Was all that a facade?

Why wasn’t I aware that something like this was going on under my nose?
