The pain was still there but his hand was making me feel things that weren’t supposed to be there in the first place.

Just to make me feel better, he was breaking his own rules. It felt like he had taken a silent oath to keep me safe from all the bad people and from all the pain that was coming my way.

Clutching his shoulders tightly I almost pierced my nails into his skin when I felt his finger making a slow entrance in my core.

It was supposed to relieve my pain not to give me those delicious tickles, I had started feeling in the pit of my stomach.

“A…Alex…” I squeezed my eyes while calling his name.

“It’ll be over, Rayna. The pain will go away soon. I’ll make it go away.” He was assuring me, and I was trusting this man.

I was treading on the dangerous territory.
