My footsteps echoed with each step I took down the hallway. A stream of the sun's rays flooded the place, but it still didn't do anything to lift the dreary feeling that lingered in the atmosphere. It was suffocating to say the least, and if I had the chance, I would be nowhere near here. But being the current alpha’s son and the next heir meant I had to make some sacrifices, whether I liked it or not.
