Axel's POV

It's been months, months of secret messages or middle of the night phone calls so I can hear her melodic voice. I miss her so much, I can't believe I managed to fall for someone so fast, then have the feelings stay even after we broke our fated bond with one another.

I haven't figured out how to get her back here or a way to have my father understand that she isn't her father, he just doesn't listen to me no matter what I say or do.

When he went to her, when he forced her to reject me I went to my mother.

She was a wreck, blaming herself for the way my father was, saying that no matter what happens or how much time passes he will never forgive or forget what she did or let her ever forget.

When I told her about father going to Raven she nearly fell to her knees as they buckled from under her, she was whispering something about how he wouldn't let her live, how he'd destroy her like he did her father to make sure she never sits in a place of power.
