Chapter 12

Alpha Noah’s POV

The sun blazed mercilessly over the pack, casting its fiery rays down on the bustling pack. The air shimmered with waves of heat, making everything in sight appear hazy and distorted.

Under the scorching sun, people sought refuge in the shade of buildings or huddled under umbrellas, trying to escape the stifling heat. The pack was unusually quiet as the oppressive temperature deterred most from venturing outside. The few brave souls who braved the blazing heat scurried along with sweat trickling down their foreheads.

I gazed out of the window and sighed, the pack council had called for an impromptu meeting and I wondered why they wanted to see me, I would rather stay in my room than go outside under this scorching but I have no choice because I have to listen to the call of my people.
