In the warmth of that evening, I strolled into the kitchen for a glass of wine. The unexpected sight that met my eyes made my jaw drop from shock,

Overwhelmed by my instinct, the urgent need to take cover behind the door quickened my steps out of the kitchen,

"Was I seeing things?" I thought to myself as I stood behind the door, trying to recover from my shock,

Taking another meticulous glance I saw her clearly, but Margaret was done, she was shoveling the substance back into her pocket, my hands flew to my lips as I tried to wrap my head around what she had just done,

My curiosity got piqued and I determined to get a clue just to ensure that I had seen her correctly, I made my way back into the kitchen, stilling my breath in an attempt to confirm my suspicion,

I decided to pretend I hadn't seen anything, instead of confronting her directly, somehow I was sure someone was behind her, "but who could that be?" I questioned myself, that, I was going to find out,
