Remembrance of the ugly incident

/Selene’s POV/

I dragged the bags to the bed and decided to arrange and do everything on the bed since I don’t want to sit on the floor because I wouldn’t be very comfortable there. I started unpacking the shopping bags.

“Ring Ring…” a ringtone interrupted me and I looked around frantically trying to see where the sound is coming from, I looked around and my eye stopped at the table when I saw light emanating from my phone screen.

“Oh, that's how the ringtone sounds? Who knows my number? ” I muttered surprisingly because this is the first time my phone is actually ringing, I've never received any call, and the fact that nobody knows that I have a phone so it's expected not to receive any call from anybody.

I dashed to the table to pick up the call before it could end, I saw a strange number and I wonder who is calling me at this time.

“It's obviously the driver, stupid human.” Athena rolled her eyes and I tried to keep my mouth shut, but as usual, it didn't work, it never works.
