CHAPTER SIX

Sapphire’s POV

I was eating breakfast when my head maid came to meet me, interrupting my breakfast.

“What did I tell you about disturbing me whenever I was having my breakfast?” I queried her.

“You said I should never disturb you unless it’s involving anyone's life.” She responded

“So is anyone dying?”

“No”

“Is anyone in danger or at risk of dying?”

“No ma’am .”

“So why are you here? I would attend everything but I won’t leave my breakfast for it. I told you as another and it doesn’t have to do with life so please don’t disturb me.

“We’ll please try to understand me, ma’am. Master Alcandar is here and I told him to come back but he is persistent. He’s outside and says he won’t leave till he meets you.” She said in a very plain tone.

I heaved a sigh of relief because I was expecting him to come and it was all part of my plan.

I remembered how I usually had a soft spot for this man before but if only I knew he would be this cruel to me. Now I knew I still had that soft spot for him but
