CHAPTER 13

“It’s been a week,” I whispered as I looked into the nowhere. "Dustin still ignores me." I added sadly before sighing.

"I hope you explained to him what happened until you and your wife got married." I looked at Kiana who was on the other couch reading a magazine.

I’m here at our parent’s house, visiting them. But I couldn't catch up with Mommy and Daddy. They have a meeting abroad. That's okay because I'm ashamed to face my father.

I sighed heavily, “If I have known that this would be his reaction, sister. I wish I had told him right away.” I’m still guilty for not telling him about my marriage.
