Chapter 8 Angel

Zayn’s P.O.V.

"I really need to fucking see my actions. What the fuck I was doing?" I murmured under my breath and unlocked my room door in haste. I was shocked to find two attractive Indian girls sitting on the bed, clad only in lingerie, and they gave me a seductive smile while gazing at me.

Then I noticed a note placed between them. I moved closer to read the note, stepping towards them and pulling it out without even glancing in their direction.

The note read, 'Gift for our boss. Hope you like it, sir. The Manager.'

I glanced at the note and then at the girls, hoping their presence would distract me from the girl who was driving my mind insane.

"Start your work," I ordered them in a stern voice. They both looked at each other and then at me, completely intimidated by my tone.

"Fast," I said, staring at them. Both got startled, and immediately one girl knelt on the floor in front of me, while the other one knelt on the bed. The one on the bed started unbuttoning my belt, and the other one began removing my coat.

After removing my shirt, she started kissing my chest, while the other girl moved down to my boxer and took my hard member inside her mouth.

I closed my eyes, grabbing her hair, but at that moment, the image of that girl from the garden flashed in front of my eyes. The way the air played with her long silky hair, her star tattoo just behind her ear, and the pleasant sound of her tickling bangles.

Fuck! What is happening to me?

While the two girls were giving me pleasure, I couldn't help but think about her.

She was only roaming in my mind, and I couldn't continue this. I felt different. This was not helping me.

Without wasting a second, I pushed the girl away from me who was sucking me down there, making her fall on the floor.

The other one, who was kissing my chest, stopped and looked at me with wide eyes. Without saying a word, I pushed her away too, making her fall on the bed.

"Just get out of my room right now," I shouted in anger, and they both didn't dare say anything, just ran from the room.

I was losing my mind because that girl whom I met in the garden was driving me insane.

"Fuck! What is happening to me?" I shouted, grabbing my hair in frustration.

I went inside the bathroom to take a shower because I didn't think I'd be able to sleep.

I closed my eyes and groaned as soon as the hot water caressed my skin, giving me much-needed relief.

"What the hell." I immediately opened my eyes as the figure of that running girl crossed my mind.

"That girl is ruining my mind," I murmured under my breath and immediately came out of the washroom after wrapping the towel around my waist.

I was about to get dressed, but stopped as my phone rang. I picked up the call and frowned after seeing the caller ID; it was Dr. James.

'What happened? Why is he calling me? There must be something wrong. I hope nothing happened to him.'

"Hello?" I answered, my voice filled with concern.

"Hello, King. I'm sorry to disturb you," Dr. James began, his tone serious.

"What's wrong, doctor? Is everything alright?" I asked, my mind racing with worry. It felt like time stood still as I awaited his response.

"That's why I called, King. Don't worry, he's perfectly fine," Dr. James assured me, and I let out a sigh of relief. The tension that had gripped me started to dissipate.

"Then why the fuck did you call me?" I shouted, my emotions getting the best out of me. I know it's not the way I should behave, but for fuck's sake, his call scared the shit out of me.

"King, actually there's progress. I mean, it's been a year, and there was not even a single ray of hope we have witnessed in his case. But today he responded to the treatment. He moved his finger and tried to open his eyes, although he didn't open them, but he tried, King. That means there's hope." Dr. James explained.

His voice first came out a little nervous because of my scream, but after, it turned into joy while tears welled up in my eyes as I heard those words. It was a moment I had longed for, a glimmer of hope after years of despair. Finally, something good was happening.

"Thank you, doctor. Please take good care of him. I'll be back soon," I replied, my voice choked with emotion. I quickly ended the call, not wanting Dr. James to hear the cracks in my voice as tears streamed down my face.

He's recovering. There's hope!

I smiled, feeling a weight lifted off my shoulders. It was as if the world around me brightened, and the sun's rays seemed to shine even more brilliantly through the window. The morning's beauty sparked a fresh wave of purpose and determination within me. It's like the world whispered, "Today is your day to conquer!"

I opened the window, letting in a gentle breeze that brushed against my face. It felt like a comforting embrace, washing away the worries that had troubled me for so long.

"Sunrise brings peace, indeed." I murmured as again the running figure of that girl flashed in my mind, making me smile.

"Who are you? Angel?" I opened my eyes and looked at the garden and smiled widely at seeing her. It seemed like she was finding something. Her back was still facing me.

And there was a girl with her. The more I noticed, I found her holding her anklet in her palm, which was tucked into the dupatta. I smiled, seeing her back.

And soon she started laughing, making me smile. Although I couldn't see her face, I could interpret she was smiling and indeed looking beautiful.

She turned a little and still laughing as her shoulder was shaking because of her laugh. I opened my camera and zoomed in to look at her face, but I couldn't as she was laughing, keeping her palm on her mouth.

My fingers automatically went to capture her pic but then only a wind blew, and her wavy long hair came in front of her face, because of which I couldn't see her face again. But the picture came out so beautiful, the hair covering her face, making her look aesthetically beautiful.

I could see her looking around, seems like she could feel my gaze on her back, but not finding anyone, she made her way towards the staff quarter.

"I don't know why I'm feeling like we're gonna meet, angel." I smiled, seeing her picture on my phone.

She was indeed an angel.

Myra’s P.O.V.

"Stop laughing, Roshini!" I exclaimed, staring at the message that had just popped up on my screen.

It was a schedule. I was assigned to the fifteenth floor, which meant I had to serve drinks or attend to the needs of the owner, whom I wanted to avoid.

"I told you, one gets what they run away from," Roshini teased, smirking mischievously at me.

"Stop it, Roshini. I'm feeling very nervous," I pouted at her. "Why is it not your duty? You wanted to meet him; you were excited about him; then why aren't you?" I whined, frustrated and nervous with the whole scenario.

"Well, I was excited to meet him, but now I have shifted my interest to somebody else," she winked.

"Huh?"

"Kabir. Kabir Hunt. His younger brother," she said, rolling her tongue inside her mouth.

"He's also our boss, Roshini. Don't mention his name like that."

"I've already mentioned his name in other ways, baby. You won't get it," she teased with a smile.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"Nothing," she said, biting her lips.

"And, by the way, babe, if you're forgetting, let me remind you: I was on the late-night shift. I just came from the shift, and on top of that, I have the shift after a few hours on the same floor, but until then, these hottie brothers are all yours," she winked, making me irritated. "Or let the younger one be mine; concentrate on the other one."

I cut her off. "Boss. He's our boss. That's it," I commented, wearing my heels and she burst into laughter.

She could never be serious.

"I have to go on my shift. You keep teasing. Huh!"

I was about to step out, but she giggled. "Yes, of course. The shift that leads you to the Greek god."

Gawd!
