Sam
I sniffled as Russell held me in his arms. He ran his fingers through my hair as he rested his chin slightly on top of my head.
"Sam, are you ok, hun?" I hear Kim's voice making us turn. She and Brandon came into our living room soon after.
"Who was that lady with the black dress that Craig was running after?" Brandon asked, pointing outward and making Kim roll her eyes.
"That would genome other than Cruella herself," she says making Brandon chuckle.
"What?" he says chuckling. Russell kept an arm over my shoulders, unwilling to let go of me, and frankly, I didn't mind one bit. He smelled so good, and his body is always so warm.
"That was my mom, Brandon."
"Oh...aishhh. Are you ok?" he says as he gives me a pitiful look.
SamanthaWe soon got interrupted by none other than our two besties, Brandon and Kim.Protesting a bit, we had no choice but to get up and get ready.Through mischievous looks and smirks from the two, we managed to change quickly and we were off to the festival in no time. Of course, Kim wasted no time as she tried to make me talk. I knew she could sense something had happened between Russell and me, but until I knew myself what was happening... my lips were sealed.I couldn't help but smile, I blushed like crazy every time Russell looked at me. I could still feel his lips on me. His warm, big hands caressing my body. God, I wish we were back on that damn couch. He's by far the best kisser ever. Far better than Craig. Craig was a biter, and not in a good way.The music was loud, and
SamanthaI stirred in bed, feeling a warm hand around my waist. I immediately smiled, remembering the night before. Russell was probably still sleeping next to me. His hair was nicely ruffled, and his lips in a natural pinkish-red, begging to be kissed. I went back to sleep peacefully knowing I was in his arms.About two hours later, I woke up again to the smell of pancakes and bacon. My stomach grumbled making an involuntary m0an escape me. I got up and made my way toward the kitchen. My eyes went wide as see the unexpected. Brandon and Kim are sitting on the kitchen island eating pancakes, laughing as Brandon smears his shirt with syrup. But the biggest shocker. My dad is in the kitchen with Russel, his sleeves rolled up with a pan in hand, ready to flip another pancake while Russell is taking care of the bacon strips. They're clueless about my presence. My dad talks away making Russell smile. He looks so cute flaunting that smile. "You have no idea how much fun that day was.
Samantha ( last day of school before Thanksgiving break)I woke up drenched in sweat. It's almost the end of November, yet California weather is as always- unpredictable.Yesterday it rained and I wore a jacket with rain boots to get to class. It's barely 7:30 in the morning and it's already hot. I glanced at my phone and looked up the weather, sunny all day with dry winds. The temperature now was 89° f. It could spike up to 110° since our university is surrounded by desert. Russell and I have been getting closer and closer. We make out when we're alone, and given that Kim and Brandon have noticed something is going on, they've given us space. They come around once in a while to hang out, but they haven't slept over like they usually did. I decided to go get a cold drink. I had worn comfy pj's to sleep thinking it was going to continue being cold, and now, I was completely drenched in sweat. I decided to strip myself and change. I discarded my underwear and went with loose booty sho
RussellI'd be kidding if I said I wasn't nervous. Meeting Sam's dad was affable indeed. He's so much like her, easy to talk to and so passionate about his work. I see why Sam is so enamored with her studies and why she is eager to get her master's in business. She gets that attitude from that man. I just met him and I already have great admiration for him.Mr. Adam's sent a black luxury SUV to pick us up. I wasn't used to all this fancy shit, but I remained genteel. We had a long three-hour drive until we finally pulled up to a house with an ocean view to its left side. It was a beautiful sight indeed. I know one day I will be able to afford my own home like this one, I just know it. I just know I'm going to get that internship for Knights Enterprise. Sam is a year younger than I am, but if things go well between us, I don't think I'd mind doing long distance for her. She's special, far more than I'd like to admit, and far more than any girl ever did. The feelings I have for her a
SamI grunted inwardly as I see Craig and his parents walk through the doors. You think they would have gone through having dinner at their own home this year. They complain about my dad's habit of always turning every holiday into what they call- another Cinco de Mayo celebration. He can't help it though. He loves his workers, and his workers love and respect him. He tries to do big celebrations for them by bringing them into our home, making a big cook-off outside and of course... Let's, and lots of drinking.Mom hates it of course because the ladies start cleaning and preparing all kinds of goods, making her feel bad. But let's face it, mom hates cooking, and she always hires a cleaning crew to take care of everything at home.Meanwhile, she spends her day shopping, branching, and playing bridge with her snooty friends, and yes, it includes Craig's mom in her group."There you are you big beluga, how are you old man?" Craig's dad hugs my dad with a loud thump on his back. "Hey,
SamI couldn't help but smile. Russell leaned his forehead on mine. But one thing was for sure, we forgot our best friends stood next to us with big mischievous smiles on their faces.Kim giggled while biting her nail, and Brandon crossed his arms smiling. "Eh-hem!" Brandon cleared his throat making us look towards them. Kim couldn't hold it, she burst out laughing, going over to us as she throws her arm around my shoulders. "That was fucking epic... Did you see Craig's face? He was so pissed!" she says as she pulls me out towards the gathering.I looked back towards Russell. He rubbed the back of his neck as Brandon swats his shoulder making him chuckle. "You can't keep denying it now. I saw the way you two looked at each other, that kiss was real back there. Oh, and then what I walked in on the other day in your kitchen! Oooh, Lord." Kim whispered yell, fanning herself. My mind went back to that morning as well, making my stomach flutter. God, I feel like a hormonal teenage girl
Russell (One Week Later)I had been busy the whole day running from one class to the next. At the beginning of the year, my sole focus was to concentrate on my classes, graduate from university, and apply for the internship at Knight Enterprise Corp.I studied at that company for two years straight. I was fascinated by their business. They were top of the chain, breaking barriers and reaching top charts all over the world. But I can't help but smile as I see my priorities changing. Samantha has become someone special to me, and I can't seem to get her off my mind, no matter what I do, she's constantly in my thoughts. Her dad is a pretty amazing guy as well. I can't believe we got along so well from the start, but I can't say the same about her mom. It's evident that she doesn't like me, but I am bound to win her over one day.I sat at the very top of the theater-like classroom, jotting down the last notes for the day of my quantum physics class.I look at the clock and realize it's 1
SamanthaBrandon and Kim sit in the small living room of my dorm, no surprise there, of course. They are completely engulfed in a friendly game of grand theft auto. I nod my head, rolling my eyes while I finish making dinner for all of us.A rattle of keys is heard in the hallway, and the door opens slowly. Russell closes the door behind him and clears his throat making me smile. Last night was incredible, and I can't help but blush as I smile at him. The vertigo in my stomach goes wild every time I see him."Um, evening everyone. Didn't expect to see my dorm full of people today." He chuckles nervously and begins to make his way slowly, hunching over and clearing his throat as he sits on a stool. I raise an eyebrow as he sits, almost nervously on that stool. What is he talking about? These two practically live here.I smile and squint my eyes as I stare at him suspiciously. "How was your day at practice today, Russell?" I tilt my head to the side and narrow an eyebrow, studying his
