Chapter-44 (You are not alone)

Scarlett Miller's POV 

Pain, this was what his eyes were holding. My heart was grown so familiar with the pain of his life. If pain was love, then I loved fiercely.

I knew one thing, I couldn't escape him, now or ever. He had always been there, consuming my every thought, my heart locked in his hands. I was drawn to him by forces I couldn't control, let alone escape. 

Even I couldn't tolerate him mentioning the women of his past.
